Throw everything at the gold Gordo, and i mean EVERYTHING, all the fruit, veggies and plorts you want ( this will lag the game in the console as hell tho so be prepared) the idea is to drown the gold gordo in as many things that can cause a gold slime to yield plorts as possible, also reserve some to drop inside the corral's floor, and the surrounding area as a minefield and 1 slot full in your vacuum aswell With the Gold Gordo in that corner you will feed him 2 of the 3 gingers needed to pop it, save the last ginger for now With all that, start by building a wall with the puzzle cubes 2 cubes high( possible in the south west corner of the grotto with the corral since in this corner you have 2 walls behind the snare, a pillar in the east and north with the high walls corral you have covered most of the area around it, plus the Grotto has a roof already which is a must) Farm loads of fruit, veggies & plorts (due to their usefulness i remain adamant of using plorts for this but it's up to you)

Purchase a corral in that corner, upgrade high walls as a must, do NOT upgrade air net

Place your Master Gordo Snare in the Grotto, specifically in the south west corner I managed to get 999 gold plorts (and some excess) with only 20 gingers ( someone could do it with less probably) Refinery being 999 max, means you would need 136 gold gingers (best case scenario yielding 30 gold plorts each time) or up to 3996(worse case scenario in which by testament of lack of luck you manage to hit 1 gold slime each time and have no upgrade). In practice this means that from a Gold Gordo at the cost of 4 gilded gingers you get anywhere from 0 to 30 gold plorts. So when you pop a Gold Gordo, you get 10 gold slimes, if you hit them before they disappear (with fruit, veggies or even plorts, NOT MATERIALS), you can get a gold plort (3 if you have purchased the upgrade).

Also is quite labor intensive (as maxing 999 gold plorts would be) Take this with a grain of salt tho, since i play on Xbox i can't testify of this working on Play station or PC, anyway. ***This turn out to be a larger than expected reply in another post, so may aswell make it into a post right? ***
